Today, I went along with the school on a Learning Journey to the National Museum. It was reconstructed (I don’t know if this is the correct word) and looks really modern now.
Although it sounds like something that’s good, I still think the old colonial feel I had gotten from my secondary school excursion there felt more “right” than the “new” one.
I reached early (all thanks to my cute little Vespa and my “ahmad”) and was sitting outside the museum that was still closed.
It opens at 10am.
While waiting, I was treated to a fogging session and I seriously felt like a mosquito for the few minutes when I was engulfed in the smog.

We entered the museum and walked through Singapore’s history – and viewed other interesting exhibitions like the Voom Portrait exhibition! You should take a look when you’re free though it’ll cost you ten bucks!

It’s a hearse from a Chinese funeral procession.
I couldn’t get a non-blurred image of this hearse.
