おくりびと (Departures) is one of the best movie so far for 2009.Before I stepped into the theatre, I had never watched the trailer nor know anything more than its supposedly morbid theme.After the show, it was a very complex feeling though it was not a bad one.Albeit it is a memento mori kind of film, but the feeling of “Life” takes a huge percentage of my complex emotions.oh… and the soundtrack is superb.

本木雅弘　(Masahiro Motoki) is the cutest thing I’ve laid my eyes on, for a while.he looks so good with a cello; does he really know how to play one?I need to get the DVD when it’s out.~Orangeline

The trailers made me go “SOOOOOO CUTE” a million times…

I watched this movie last week with my sister.
and I must say, it’s a fantastic fantasy movie!
the pace was good, effects were GREAT and Ben Barnes is delicious …

Edmund (Skandar Keynes) was pretty cute too…

One thing I definitely nodded my head to – friendship is not measured by duration & identity.
Same goes for the value of a person… as well as the “joys” of one’s life.
Mine is just different from yours… but it doesn’t mean that my joys are not joys – and that I have led a regretful life …
