I’ve learnt a new word today when i was revising for 184 - Human Resource Mgtment & Entrepreneurship!!

1. to increase the severity, bitterness, or violence of (disease, ill feeling, etc.); aggravate.
2. to embitter the feelings of (a person); irritate; exasperate.

I saw the word when I was reading about Porter’s 5 Forces… haha and the sentence was
“Exit barriers limit the ability of a firm to leave the market and can exacerbate rivalry - unable to leave the industry, a firm must compete.”

yupyup…so there’s a new word for me!
